Daily Challenge 06/05
Daily Challenges:
Put together list of remaining clips for Foldable to slab b-roll
Did this!
Plan shots for Claude Shannon
I kinda sorta indirectly did this. TBH I have no idea how I am going to do this so I shifted the focus to finishing the content idea.
Challenges for the Week:
Give me a chance:
Post Foldable to Slab Video
Finish filming B-Roll, creating thumbnail, and uploading video
Skills: Uploading, Thumbnail Creation, Editing
Progress: Added more B-Roll into the video. Planned out remaining B-Roll Shots so I can film them tomorrow
Temperance:
100% Diet Adherence
Finish cut by fully adhering to diet
Skills: practice temperance
Progress: Continued success. A carrot almost caught me lackin.
Discipline:
In bed by 10:00 PM
Skills: discipline and health
Progress: In bed at 10:00 PM again but not actually asleep…. It’s 11:11 PM as I write this. Bryan Johnson would be disappointed.
Side Quest:
Read all Beginner 1 Lingq Lessons
Skill: Japanese
Progress: Listened to 2 Japanese with Noriko lessons. Realized midway through the second one that I have been too focused on letting the Lingq app read to me and not focused enough on intensive reading. Embrace the short term gain for the long-term progress. I really want to read some non-fiction books in Japanese. Put wanikani back in vacation mode so I can focus on reading.
Note:
Took Truman to the vet today as I was highly concerned about swelling at his incision site. It was a seroma and not a big deal but his bacteria levels were a bit high so he got antibiotics. This dude is the king of antibiotics.
Downloaded Mind at Play on Kindle so I can highlight and fish for quotes for my video.
Leveraged chat GPT to get an idea of a gameplan that would help me put in an “unreasonable amount of inputs to get to 100k YT subscribers in a year.” The inputs were high but not unreasonable. My main concern is how much that would cut into my sleep….
Bought a sling bag for the gym so I don’t accidentally set my Versa Gripps up to get stolen again because I’m carrying around too much shit.
It’s a good thing I write down my daily challenges… It’s a pain in the ass remembering them. It’s also a good thing that I premake meals. I would have skipped dinner if it wasn’t for my temperance challenge. It’s hard to ignore the siren song of the m&ms held captive in our pantry.
