Daily Challenge 06/12
Daily Challenges:
Record all initial B-Roll for M65 Ultra
I recorded most of the B-Roll. I didn’t want to search for the G502 in our dark bedroom while Syd was asleep. Giving myself credit
Finish reading Mind at play
This was priority number one for the day. I finished it and really enjoyed re-reading it. I highlighted a good chunk of the book and made lots of notes. I’m looking forward to reviewing everything and seeing how I can take these notes and synthesize them for others.
Challenges for the Week:
Give me a chance:
This will be ongoing. I have to lock in over the next few months to be ready for a big opportunity.
2 Videos Posted this Week (M65 and Life Lessons at 28)
Skills: Uploading, Thumbnail Creation, Editing
Progress: Finished Mind at Play. Made a lot of progress. Absolutely loving the usage of Readwise for capturing my notes. It’s a great application that makes it really easy to go through notes and quotes. I just need to make sure I am tailoring my highlights to how they will show up for my review.
Temperance w/ a twist:
100% Diet Adherence-kinda (I have to adhere to the calories and most of the meals but can have snacks)
Skills: practice temperance
Progress: Dakota relearned the lesson from yesterday. Is it learning if I repeat the same mistake? Had a breakfast burrito (planned), way too many m&ms (unplanned), pizza (unplanned, Syd wanted some and pizza is one of my favorite food groups).
Discipline:
In bed by 10:00 PM
Skills: discipline and health
Progress: I would really really really really like to figure out how I want to approach sleep. I can get more out of my life if I push sleep back but I recognize that I could be compromising my long term health. Is the priority pushing myself to the brink of exhaustion for a more immediate, potentially longer future that I enjoy or prioritizing sleep to force better use of time during the day at the expense of everything taking longer to achieve?
Note:
Syd finished staging both of her listings! I’m super proud of her!
My ankle is still bugging me and I chose not to walk on the treadmill like I normally would in an attempt to have it not bug me as much. Foreshadowing: this didn’t make much of a difference.
Truman got to play fetch for the first time in two weeks and was SO happy. It filled my cup.
